Item Title
C-18 The Policies and Procedures for the Provision of Specially Designed Instruction and Related Services for Exceptional Students has been received in the form of amendments to the 2004-2005 through 2006-2007 documents.
Issue/Rationale
Verification of School Board approval of the Special Program and Procedures Manual must be submitted by August 31, 2007 in order to participate in state funding.
This document outlines the requirements for eligibility and placement in ESE programs in Clay District Schools. FEFP participation requires this document and current services cannot be provided without participation.
Recommended Action
The Superintendent recommends approval.
Financial Impact
FEFP funding for Special Education are necessary to provide services. There is no other funding sources to replace these funds.
